Concert Band
Concert Band is the umbrella organization, from which all other instrumental ensembles branch. It meets every day during 4th hour throughout the school year. Students perform in two main concerts: The Holiday Concert in December, and the Fine Arts Concert in May. We also participate in various festivals and clinics throughout the year.
It is our goal as a Concert Band to hone our skills as musicians both individually and as a large group. We rely upon each other to learn, improve, and perform as one cohesive unit. Together, we create a once-in-a-lifetime event, providing a positive experience for all involved.

Letter Winners
Due to the wide variety of events music students find themselves participating in musically, a point system is used to establish a means of determining when a music student has earned their Letter.
Cuba City High School sponsors the earning of one music letter and additional bars. Points to earn a band and chorus Letter are separate, so students participating in both groups are eligible to earn two Letters from the music program.
When students earn their respective required points, they will receive their first Letter. All points earned above their initial requirements will entitle a student to a bar. Points continue building each year and carry over from one year to the next. Letters and bars are awarded on the night of the Music Banquet.
To receive letter points, you must have personally participated in the entire event and that event must have already taken place.
